Animal Concern Cumbria is a small local charity that exists to help find new homes for neglected or unwanted animals in Cumbria.
The Charity operates with a Branch structure and is managed by the Board of Trustees who are elected annually by the Branch members.
It is the firm policy of Animal Concern Cumbria not to destroy an animal for want of a home, except on the medical advice of a Veterinary Surgeon.
The Charity is self-funding and is run largely by Volunteers.
