Description

Powerful; Fierce; Unstoppable – these are the meanings of Broly’s name, which is far from the truth.

True-Hearted; Silly Sausage; Scaredy Cat - much more accurate of a description for this sensitive boy.

A loyal and loving boy whose only want in life is human companionship. Once you’ve gained his trust, he’ll be your bestie for life. He settles well in a home, snoozing his days away between walks but loves to be by your side at any given opportunity. Broly loves his home comforts – he’s not quite got the memo that he’s a Husky, as he’s a fair-weather walker and would much prefer to be snuggled up in the warmth with his head rested by your feet than out in wind, rain or snow.

Some take it better than others but unfortunately coming into rescue has been a scary change for Broly – he was bitten by a dog shortly before coming to us, which knocked his confidence and all the big changes of moving to a kennel environment haven’t helped either. Broly is finding life a bit overwhelming at the moment, and he really needs a new family with compassion and understanding to help build him back up.

He's seeking an experienced owner, who’s willing to work with him on seeing that life can be super fun, and not so scary, and he doesn’t have to panic at every dog he sees. Broly needs a pet-free and child-free home as he’d love a calming oasis to decompress in, and will need lots of 1-to-1 time to work on making him feel like a brave boy again. Ideally while he settles in, he’ll need someone at home most of the time but settles well when left in a familiar environment.
